Mission Statement
Mission: Provide grief and bereavement counseling to children that are faced with the difficult emotional challenge of having a parent diagnosed with a terminal illness and to honor the parent by fulfilling a wish that will create memories for the child.
Vision
- Establish bereavement support for children throughout the lower mainland
- To work in partnership with Nurses, Physicians, Counselors, Art-Music Therapists and Psychologists across the Lower Mainland
- To create network of resources in the community that will help with the provisions of fulfillilng a child’s wish
- To raise public awareness on access to bereavement support
- Encourage post secondary education to children by starting an RESP if the family meets eligibility criteria
